Hi, we do have a display case for the Titanic which is available towards the end of the series. Thank you

    Hi Sam.

I contacted Agora Models via email and was told that they do not ship the Titanic to Australia, so the display case will not be available to me.

Is this the case ? (pun intended) Will Australians be able to purchase these from Agora, or will I have to look elsewhere ? I noticed the Titanic isn't even on the main page for Agora Models anymore.

    Thanks.

How about a Top Fuel Dragster? Any era, front or rear engine. Doug Kalitta's car has nice lines and bright livery, but old school front engine cars would be cool too. Don Garlits' Swamp Rat series maybe?

The outrageous proportions of these beasts would be a treat to have in 1:8 scale.

I went to a museum once where they had the old school drag cars and I was able to sit in one.

I don't know how they did it back in the day. If you have a closer look you can see that the driver sits literally directly on top of the differential. You were surely in for some hell if it ever exploded under power.........

Love the Vincent but the Honda and Kawasaki are great. I had a couple Yamaha two strokes including a 400 Daytona Special and a 350 RD.

I'm a bit longer in the tooth these days, but when I was younger I also had the RD350LC, and the air-cooled 400 !

The 400 handled like a brick and took a while to stop with the single piston solid disc front end, but it was fully ported with expansion chambers so the power delivery was pretty savage 😁

  4. I noticed when doing this stage yesterday that the LED board would not sit flat. The cause of mine not sitting flat were the locating pins on the ventilation hoods. These were too long and protrude too far through the superstructure. I just filed a small amount from the pins, so that when the hoods are fully seated, the pins sit flush with the underside of the superstructure and no longer touch the board. As always, do a test fit before glueing anything.I hope this helps someone that may run in to the same issue.

    Cheers.

Hi Jeff, yes we will be able to provide these later this year, thanks for your interest.

    Hi Sam,

I didn't subscribe through Hachette or Agora. I'm getting the Titanic through my local newsagent. (I didn't know Agora were distributing the Titanic when I started 😒)I noticed there are some Facebook people around my neck of the woods in Australia that are starting to receive the first binder. Are these binders available to Australians to purchase seperately through Agora ? If so, how to I get my hands on them ?

    Thanks.

  6. Hi All,

I'm only very early on in the build. (Just completed stage 4).I didn't suscribe through Hachette or Agora. I know, shame on me. I went through a newsagent before I became a member or even knew about Agora !

I haven't seen the display cases advertised or shown anywhere apart from the subscription literature for the UK people. I know now it would have been cheaper to subscribe, but will a display case for the Titanic be available to us Australians further on down the track ?

    Cheers.

They screw down and replace the existing part. U could use tape if u wanted to or even cut the lug away that the screw goes it to

I was just asking as I have seen some "3rd party" hatches just stuck down with tape because they dont have the lugs. I would prefer the lugs to be there to fit into the original lug holes. Cheers.
