  1. That's what I thought, but oddly enough, I'm now leaning more toward a bad battery pack.  In Pack 6, we get a different board, and it's also not working when using the Stage 1 Battery Pack.  I've been in contact with Agora and they are sending me new stuff....so hopefully that works.

  2. In pack 1, we're encouraged to test the LED's and are provided with a battery pack and test board.  I put batteries in, tested all 4 LEDs and none of them worked.

I verified all four batteries were installed properly, and still nothing.

I put 4 brand new batteries in, and nothing

I think it would be a bit odd that all four LEDs would be bad, so I'm leaning toward a bad test board or battery pack.

    Is there something I'm missing?

Hi, I might be a bit late to the table,  but has anyone suggested the 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback from Bullitt?

Surely it has to be right up there with Bond's DB5 as an all time classic film car.

Eaglemoss had one listed as "Coming Soon" before they folded.  If I remember right, it wasn't "licensed" as the Bullitt car, but was just a Highland Green 68 Mustang GT Fastback and one of the "extras" you could get was a set of Torq Thrust wheels like the one in Bullitt.

  4. I believe Hachette did a Trial of the Hogwart's Express about 3 years ago....was really hoping that one would make it to production.  Nice looking train, international appeal, and a pretty dedicated fanbase.  I'm not even a Harry Potter Fan and I was planning on subscribing if it came to the US.

when i go to my dashboard it still shows that i have no orders or subscriptions eventhough i have received my first pack of the optimus build.
how long does it take to show up?

Mine is the same way with Optimus Prime....it shows the Shelby Cobra and the Miura, but no Optimus Prime.  I have the first pack and have already been charged for the second.

For me, the cult factor is important...
I don't play with the models...I think it's great as a standing figure...
I'm all about the fun of building...Building with the others together and exchanging ideas...Developing mods... .
I'm all about the model here...

I'm exactly the same....I don't build these because I want it to be finished.  TBH, I still worry what I'm going to do with all these models when I'm done building them.  I do it because I enjoy watching it come together....the process of it.  Once it's done, it just sits there; I don't play with them.

I'd much rather build  a static model, then buy one that "does things" like the Auto-Transforming one shown above.

  7. Oddly enough, even though the DB5 is one of most beautiful cars ever built, the one I'm most looking forward to is the V8 Vantage from The Living Daylights.  It's just such an odd duck of a car...it's like an Aston Martin had a One-Night-Stand with a Mach-1 Mustang.  I saw that movie when it came out (I was about 13 if you want to do that math) and even then I fell in love with the car.

does anyone know why the new corvette stingray model is £225 more expensive than the others in agoras collection ? its usually £54.99 plus 11x £99.99 but this new one is £59.99 plus 11x £119.99 are all the others going to increase now or is this just a one off and if so why ?

Optimus Prime is the same price (119.99 x 11)....so that's probably the new "standard" due to Inflation.

    Another somewhat cryptic clue.....

    Born from a Manta Ray

Shooters gotta take their shot....so this one is out there.

Anybody remember the show Hardcastle And McCormick from the 80's?  That show featured a car that had been modified by George Barris....and the original car was (and this is someone disputed) a little known American Car called a Manta Mirage.

It sounds like a thing with that Staples, not Agora. They're just being overly cautious. Companies are so sue-happy that other companies are gun shy. I see it all the time with YouTube. My advice? Contact the store and explain to them that it's not copyright infringement as Agora Models makes the instructions free to download and print. And, if you have to, go in and show them that fact.

I found a better solution....called a locally owned print shop and they did it without any issues, at half the price, and had it done within about an hour or two.

  11. So this is a bit strange....I prefer having the instructions printed out as opposed to seeing them on screen (just a preference thing).  When I built the Cobra, I downloaded the instructions and had them printed at Staples.  No problem at all.  I'm planning on starting the Lamborghini, so I sent the first couple stages of instructions over to them to be printed up, and they called me the next day and said they were "unable" to print them due to "copyright infringement" issues.  Has anyone else run into this?

  12. I'm building it as well...if I had to guess (I know absolutely nothing, this is pure speculation on my part), depending on what comes out of Administration, that if EM ceases all Part Work Business, another company like DeAgostini (through Fanhome) or even Agora might evaluate the build to see if it's something they could distribute.  Again, I don't "know" anything (not connected to the industry at all, just another customer).

In Japan, the DeLorean build (which I'm also working on) was actually distributed by DeAgostini.  In the EU, the Willy's Jeep was a Hachette release.

I hadn't received a notice either, but this past early afternoon, there was the package sitting on my doorstep! 🙂

I gotta say that the body is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Flawless paint and definitely worth waiting for! If you're in the states, don't be surprised if it just shows up. Agora I can best believe is very busy, and they're trying to get these out as fast as they can.

I got it delivered yesterday....body is absolutely beautiful.

Pack 12 is scheduled to be delivered on Saturday this week
