I got the replacement parts yesterday....and it was the battery pack that was bad. Either way, glad to be back in business on building it.
-
That's what I thought, but oddly enough, I'm now leaning more toward a bad battery pack. In Pack 6, we get a different board, and it's also not working when using the Stage 1 Battery Pack. I've been in contact with Agora and they are sending me new stuff....so hopefully that works.

In pack 1, we're encouraged to test the LED's and are provided with a battery pack and test board. I put batteries in, tested all 4 LEDs and none of them worked. I verified all four batteries were installed properly, and still nothing. I put 4 brand new batteries in, and nothing I think it would be a bit odd that all four LEDs would be bad, so I'm leaning toward a bad test board or battery pack. Is there something I'm missing?

Eaglemoss had one listed as "Coming Soon" before they folded. If I remember right, it wasn't "licensed" as the Bullitt car, but was just a Highland Green 68 Mustang GT Fastback and one of the "extras" you could get was a set of Torq Thrust wheels like the one in Bullitt.

Road Warrior Falcon or Dukes of Hazzard Charger????

The General Lee won't happen. Warner Brothers discontinued all licensing of General Lee models/toys/images in 2015 for....The Reason (not giving my opinion one way or the other, just stating why). There was someone who modded the Fast And Furious Charger to be a General Lee Charger (with a blower lol). He did a good job with it. -
I believe Hachette did a Trial of the Hogwart's Express about 3 years ago....was really hoping that one would make it to production. Nice looking train, international appeal, and a pretty dedicated fanbase. I'm not even a Harry Potter Fan and I was planning on subscribing if it came to the US.

Huh...well...nevermind, Pack 2 showed up yesterday in the mail. Just never got a Shipping E-mail for it.
-
Has anyone in the U.S. gotten pack 2 yet? I was charged for Pack 2 on 5/19, and Pack 3 on 6/19, but I haven't had any deliveries since Pack 1 in early May.

I pay with PayPal, so I get an E-mail from them when Payment has been taken, then an E-mail from Agora once it's shipped. -

Mine is the same way with Optimus Prime....it shows the Shelby Cobra and the Miura, but no Optimus Prime. I have the first pack and have already been charged for the second. -

I was getting ready to say that.....$1,900 for something that you don't build...you take it out of the box and...there it is. "Cool, we'll put it right here and....ummmm....I guess I'll go see a movie now or...something" -

That looks great....I've been trying to come up with something to do with the floor pan of that car...it looks so unfinished. Where did you find that stuff? -
What does the transformer want to be?
chewie402 replied to keramh's topic in General Transformers chat
I'm exactly the same....I don't build these because I want it to be finished. TBH, I still worry what I'm going to do with all these models when I'm done building them. I do it because I enjoy watching it come together....the process of it. Once it's done, it just sits there; I don't play with them. I'd much rather build a static model, then buy one that "does things" like the Auto-Transforming one shown above. -
Oddly enough, even though the DB5 is one of most beautiful cars ever built, the one I'm most looking forward to is the V8 Vantage from The Living Daylights. It's just such an odd duck of a car...it's like an Aston Martin had a One-Night-Stand with a Mach-1 Mustang. I saw that movie when it came out (I was about 13 if you want to do that math) and even then I fell in love with the car.

Guess another new model!

Optimus Prime is the same price (119.99 x 11)....so that's probably the new "standard" due to Inflation. -

Shooters gotta take their shot....so this one is out there. Anybody remember the show Hardcastle And McCormick from the 80's? That show featured a car that had been modified by George Barris....and the original car was (and this is someone disputed) a little known American Car called a Manta Mirage. -
I found a better solution....called a locally owned print shop and they did it without any issues, at half the price, and had it done within about an hour or two.

So this is a bit strange....I prefer having the instructions printed out as opposed to seeing them on screen (just a preference thing). When I built the Cobra, I downloaded the instructions and had them printed at Staples. No problem at all. I'm planning on starting the Lamborghini, so I sent the first couple stages of instructions over to them to be printed up, and they called me the next day and said they were "unable" to print them due to "copyright infringement" issues. Has anyone else run into this?

Teaser about another new product!

I saw some pictures of the plaque commemorating the pilgrims setting sail from Plymouth and founding New Plymouth. Plymouth.....Fury? Are you finally doing a Christine buildup? -
I'm building it as well...if I had to guess (I know absolutely nothing, this is pure speculation on my part), depending on what comes out of Administration, that if EM ceases all Part Work Business, another company like DeAgostini (through Fanhome) or even Agora might evaluate the build to see if it's something they could distribute. Again, I don't "know" anything (not connected to the industry at all, just another customer). In Japan, the DeLorean build (which I'm also working on) was actually distributed by DeAgostini. In the EU, the Willy's Jeep was a Hachette release.

I got it delivered yesterday....body is absolutely beautiful. Pack 12 is scheduled to be delivered on Saturday this week
-
I still haven't gotten any shipping notice on Pack 11 yet, and I was charged yesterday for Pack 12.
-
Has anyone in the US had Pack 11 delivered yet? I got an E-mail about a month ago saying it would be shipped out within 7 - 10 days, but haven't heard anything else.

Not sure where you're located, but Eaglemoss offers a Willy's Jeep....my dad is currently building it.
