I would think the Gt40 Lemans winners would be very popular;  the 1966 MarkII black #2 and the 'spiritual winner' #1 driven by Ken Miles [from Ford vs.Ferrari cinema release story]  AND the 1967 MarkIV winner driven by legendary Dan Gurney and A.J.Foyt.

The number 6 1969 winner (blue with the Orange front) has recently started from Model Space - They are about to start sending out Pack 4 ..

  2. First off - lovely model  and I subbed almost straight away.  My hesitation is explained elsewhere and I wont rehash here.

But it does look a good looking model and I'm looking forward to it - even if it now means I'm proably going to 8 builds running from Sept

So ... for those of us not able to put down 500 upfront - what will be the situation for getting a stand ?

Reading between the lines on the text of the 'collectors version' is it going to be an extra 20 quid on the packs 6 - 12 or will we not be able to get a stand ?

    Thanks

  3. It's still just the Hachette one - I get the US was crying out for it but it seems a shame for the second model Agora release to be a licence of someone else's kit rather than an Agora original ... also it means that those of us currently on issue 54 wont finish until after pack 12 is released ...

What  do you all think of the following idea of building the spitfire mk a1 with the following functions

    1) Rotating propellers (with sound effects)

    2) Synchronised blade pitch

    3) Detailed engine with removable outer panels

    4) Landing gear which can be raised and lowered

    5) Moving rudder, elevators, ailerons and landing flaps

    6) Sliding cockpit cover and opening door

    7) Working cockpit, navigation and taillights

😎 Flashing machine guns ( with sound effects)

all operated with a small battery remote control

let me know what you's think it can of course be any other ww2 aircraft

You can go to the hactette part works and see it on they website but strongly advise not to order from them as l have used them before and they customer service is hopeless because l had to send them eight emails before l got a reply as l live in Australia but at agora  models when l send them a email they reply on the same day

I’m building the Hachette Sptitfire over here in the UK - What I will say is they changed there customer service and team and moved to a new distribution warehouse in January and over here the support has been fine ...  I don’t think there’s any point in Agora replicating another current kit at all (and don’t confuse the customer service / distributor with the kit designer/model maker). Of course actully Hachette, Diag, Model Space, Eaglemoss and Panini are all using the same outsourced customer service and fulfilment company in the UK so all go through one place. I’m assuming Agora have made there own arrangements.

  5. Talking of model ideas and the idea of iconic film/movie cars - the original spinner from Blade Runner would be my dream kit - obviously it would need to be built from a combination of the both the shell/models used in the Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 and some CG parts but still - a 1:8 spinner would be a no brainier on my account.

  6. Hi

Do we know if pack 1 is likely to ship soon ?

I can see from my orders that pack 2 now seems to have slipped and be scheduled to Feb 28th so I was wondering if we could confirm if Pack  1 has started going out yet ?

    Thanks all

    John
