    Hi, I have been building the Hachette version of the Bismarck in Australia.

    Currently we are up to Issue 75 and I have tried to get the Bismarck Nameplate but unfortunately Hachette refuse to sell that as a separate item.

    You had to be a Subscriber to get the Nameplate for free.

    I would like to ask Agora Models if they will be selling the Bismarck Nameplate and the Display Case?

    Where about in Australia are you (just state wise) as I have two of the plaques from Hachette I'm will to send you one of them.

    the people who make videos for agora get their models free,world of wayne has had pack 5 a couple of week if they can send him pack 5 why cant they send ours?...

    Also for those Builders/Moders who do the YouTube videos, and get the packs for free; have a strict agreement with the companies they are getting them from stating that they can only show/film the pack after a set date (usually it is the date that most of the subs are sent their packs).

  3. Looks like the Australian subs got short shifted on getting the Plasma rifle, just like they were from Hachette with it. No sign or indication that it is available for Australian subs as no email or access to the purchase page from the main Agora models site is accessible to Australian subs, from what I have been able to find out.

    You should’ve been informed by now that the shipment / payment interval has now moved to 35 days. I’m not thrilled to hear it in Australia. Especially since the original promises were of shipments from Australian warehouses. However, we’re getting free shipments from the UK, and they’re mostly accurate and undamaged. I am still appreciative that I can get the packages in Australia, whereas the Ecto-1 isn’t available.

    it is not Agora that i have the issues with it is the delivery companies that are handling the shipping that is letting Australian subs down. It will be good when Agroa get their Australian warehouse going it should be good.

  5. Yes the delays are really getting bad. I'm not sure how many other Australian builders are waiting for between 27 - 35 days for their packs to arrive. Even worse when the delivery route suddenly decides to go through the other side of the country to where they where going for all other deliveries.

    when i click on purchase plasma riffle terminator, it asks me for a passwoord, where can we find it? I thought it was the one we know registered with, but it doesn't work. thank you

    The password will be in the email that they will send out to all current subs of the build, at that time; when they get around to sending them out. I'm hoping that they get around to sending the emails out before Christmas so that we can all enjoy happiness of having a set date for the delivery of the pulse rifle.

  7. Just working on the price for the Bismark build the Agora option works out overall costing less than from Hachette. in Australia the cost of the Bismark issues from Hachette is $20 when you work out the total cost over all 140 issues comes close to $2800. Where as from Agora it is about $2290 for the complete build and works out at around $17 per issue.

    So I would say that the Agora works out to be the better option for those who are looking to build the Bismark overall.
    That is of course not counting the display case that Agora is offering for the Bismark.

  8. General Lou;

    Do you have a idea from which Pack the Aus/NZ subscribers will be getting there sent from the Australian distribution center as yet?

    Having to wait almost a full month from when the Warehouse team in the UK sends the build can for some people lessen the enthusiasm for the build.

  9. PH0 and PH00 Screwdrivers with a shaft of 60mm;

    Plastic Side cutters (best if you can get a single Blade pair for cleaner cuts);

    #2 hex key (just in case you lose the one that comes with the build);

    A magnifier headset (depending on where you are building it one with a light);

    A pin drill and dress pin (for more precise application of the glue)

  10. General Lee;

    I've have kept a look out for any information from you Agora, that might provide a hint on how many pack the Bismark will come in. Do you have a rough idea as yet that you could share with the general community about this?

    I found that the sticky parts were the left and right shoulder cogs (Parts 23-1 and 28-2). They are cast from a rougher mould (of aluminium it looks like), and the groove for the springs is narrow - this tends to form some oxidation on the inside edges of the groove. It probably grabs the spring inconsistently, depending on how much oxidation has occurred, and leads to inconsistent binding.

    My spring tended to bind initially on both shoulders while test fitting to the cog (Steps 25-10 and 29-10). I wetted a small stick with… wait for it… WD-40 (!) and wiped it around the inside of the groove a number of times. After awhile, the stick turned black with the picked up oxidation. Another light application of WD-40 inside the groove, and the spring would spin easily against the cogs. No trimming necessary, no messy grease, and rotated smoothly after fitting the cap plates. 👍

    🖖

    I might try that was i can longer get in to the shoulder joints as one of the screws is cover by a glued in greebel so can't get in to the spring to try and grease or trim it.

    Hello PeteJcouper and General Lou.
    Thank you for your answers.
    I would really like to know if the chassi will be present or only a plate below the car.
    Will there be the suspension system as originally or simply a shock absorber on a straight axis to simulate the damping ..
    this kind of detail, which for this price seems to me to be a minimum.
    But I'm waiting to see the photos of the prototype to make my choice.
    Thanks to both of you anyway.

    See you soon.

    World of Wayne did a Showcase video of the  cobra a few days ago here is the link to that video so you can see the prototype.

  13. Got to say that Sam really was good on ensuring that all the delivery Issues I had getting packs 1 -3 in one delivery with the errors (that I beleve was some intern in the British Royal Mail customs office). I can't fault Agora Staff for the problems, but they are really quick on ensuring that we get the deliveries that we paid for to us as soon as they can.

  14. Having the Same issue with both the left and Right shoulders. I've files, trimed and greased the living hell out of the springs and still only turns one way.... the only thing that i could think it might be is on the plate that the should rotates on might need to be sanded a little.. I'll try that and see if that fixes the issue...

    DAMN Los Angeles....in another week my pack two will be hostage for a month. Fraq.....

    It could be worse and it could be being held hostage by Royal Mail like mine packs are by the looks of the things... no updates on the tracking since the tacking number was provided to me from Agora models, under three weeks ago.
