I have been struggling with the wire wheels lately but finally got to the last one. I was sitting in my shed today and right in front of me was my 1963 MGB with wire wheels just like the ones on the E-Type model. I was looking at them and realised that something wasn't right with the instructions. You are not supposed to feed the inner and outer spokes through the diamond shaped openings. No wonder the spokes don't want to fit very well! Not I have to take the rest of my wheels apart again and re-do the inner and outer spokes.
