Katz
I’ve been working on this since October ‘23, and it’s coming along fairly well. Here is the chassis. Nothing too special. A bit of weathering, thinned the fan, added hose clamps from Mike Lane. I sort of want to lower it slightly since that swing axle cambers in a little more than I’d like even with the body on. At this point, it’s surgery, so I’m still thinking about it.
Katz
I moved on to the interior. I went with ink blue and plaid seats. The seats are paper, printed in MacRea of Conchra plaid that seems pretty close to the correct pattern. Added a grey felt tunnel blanket and some rubber floor mats. The carpet is royal blue felt. I got some Jaguar XKE seatbelts from ModelModz even though they aren’t standard for the car (safety first, I guess) and I like them a lot. I am unhappy with the dashboard gauges, and am thinking of making my own. These seem muddy. Not too shabby.
keramh
The checks are a bit too big but I really like your blue interior.
Katz
Finished the door cards today. Replaced the painted on rivets with pin heads. Did the same on the cabin panels. Laid down a little body paint too. It’s a start… Oh, and I lopped a coil off the rear springs to try to get the camber under control. Subtle difference, but it’s better. before: after
keramh
hello, very nice that everything looks so good with just a different color. You have correctly kept the edges on the door panels in the color of the car. I don't see any more screws here, did you glue the door panels? The number of pinheads would be a bit too much for me but the overall picture is still harmonious.

Assembly was a bit of a pain considering how the pieces are constructed, but I managed to get it all together. As for the pins, I went with what was printed on the model. I suppose I should have looked up # and placement. Happy-ish overall. Where did you get your little hex-head screws, btw? They would be great for the hinges. keramh
I buy all my screws from GHW Modellbauschrauben or Knupfer, they are a bit more expensive but have an even better range. https://ghw-modellbau.de/ https://knupfer.info/shop/
