[Difficulty connecting track segments]

Does anyone have any hints to help with connecting track segments?

[Bypass touch switch on model base?]

I will be placing Bismarck model in a custom made display case and would like to be able to operate model without having to removed cover to activate touch switch each time .

I have installed the power pack so I can run the power supply through the wood bottom of the case but need a way to move the base touch switch outside of the display case housing or to replace the switch with a toggle type switch on the out side of the case.

The case measures 60 x 11 x19 inches and would be a bit of a pain to open each time I want to show off the model's action.

Same problem with off/on switch as others and was wondering if you can replace it with a toggle type switch?

Also, everything worked fine with rotation of small turrets then suddenly the starboard turrets rotate aft when pushing forward button and vice/versa, stern anchor also has some problem, any thoughts?

Has anybody had problems with turning model on/off?

The switch works erratically being difficult to turn on mostly but  turning off is a problem on occasion.

Also my controls for the smaller gun turrets on the starboard side are now reversed with aft going forward and forward going aft. The stern anchor also is reversed with up now down . They were working fine until a few weeks ago.

Any ideas on cause/solution?

Same problem. On fourth set of batteries. If no fix is found then I will have to switch to rechargeables or leave battery cover off and remove a battery.

Also, does anyone know the translation for the words used for Enemy port, starboard and drop anchor?

aft superstructure radar does not turn, get high pitched whine when trying to activate.

Any ideas to correct problem and how difficult would it be to access motor since build is just about complete?
