  1. Yes, but unfortunately a direct import was not possible. I managed to get a model through my local dealer and then through RE Europe, KSR Group in Austria. I don't think RE expected such a large global demand. They only wanted to sell it in India and were simply overwhelmed.
  2. I found out about it in 2022 and really wanted my motorcycle as a model. Here are some pictures from the production. Available in all colors that are also offered on the 1:1 motorcycle. I will take another picture in front of, next to and on my 1:1 Enni.
  3. hello, a two-year odyssey has now come to a happy end. My Enni model has finally arrived. The transport box, measuring 41 x 87 x 60 cm and weighing 30.8 kg, was secured with straps and foil on a disposable pallet. Inside it was a box measuring 32 x 77 x 48 cm and weighing 16.4 kg, additionally secured with foil and straps. When the box was opened, a very nicely made card was included. Now to the inside of the box The first look at the contents is promising and absolutely breathtaking The packaging is tailored to the model down to the millimeter, a masterpiece of packaging technology. Quickly on... The model can now be lifted out of the box using the two wide Velcro straps. Freed from the remaining protective measures, it is now in front of us. Here are the technical data of the model again: Brand: Royal Enfield Type: Classic 500 Scale: 1:3 Weight: 8.5 kg Length: 78 cm Height: 38 cm Width: 26.1 cm Price: 1099.00 European I have one drawback, there are no rear-view mirrors... the threads in the fittings aren't on any pictures online, and there are no rear-view mirrors to be seen in any videos, which is a shame. As soon as I have time and the weather is right, I'll take more pictures, also next to mine in 1:1.
  4. beautifully executed, a very good achievement after such a long time of abstinence. Are you also aging the bodywork? Is that the IXO Fangio kit? That reminds me of mine, it was a real pleasure to build.
  5. The tool would still be OK, the fit of the silver one is very good. All the printed type plates and warning stickers are completely wrong. That is extremely annoying. Furthermore, the silver Rudge has rims and brake drums for the central locking variant and then they put wheel caps on them... what's the point. The red one now has hubcaps again, which is a real shame.
  6. I've just discovered that IXO is bringing out the 300 SL in red with beige interior. Unfortunately, only hubcaps are installed again, the correct Rudge rims were already there. I also really hope that the stickers/labels in the engine compartment have been improved this time. The old Eaglemoss ones were absolutely faulty and terrible.
  7. I buy all my screws from GHW Modellbauschrauben or Knupfer, they are a bit more expensive but have an even better range. https://ghw-modellbau.de/ https://knupfer.info/shop/
  8. Addendum to yesterday's wheels, the valves. The ones from the kit had to be removed to paint the rims. In themselves, they are not badly made, but some were so firmly glued to the rims that they broke when they were dismantled. But somehow I also wanted to see threads and a screw connection on the rim, so I built a new one with a 1 mm stud. This was shortened to 3 mm and dipped in black paint, and the valve cap was ready. The whole thing times 5 And now the studs can be glued into the hole in the rim. Then do that again times 5 and the wheels for the first aluminum wing are ready.
  9. hello, very nice that everything looks so good with just a different color. You have correctly kept the edges on the door panels in the color of the car. I don't see any more screws here, did you glue the door panels? The number of pinheads would be a bit too much for me but the overall picture is still harmonious.
  10. Hello, the tip is very weak and only easily visible, I don't think I'll touch it again. I think I wouldn't make this small part any better and then the whole headlight would suffer.
  11. Then I couldn't hold back. The first parts had dried sufficiently and hardened. The tires were placed in 70° hot water for about 10 minutes and were easy to put on. Beforehand, I wanted to take away some of their shine and they had to spend a few kilometers on the sandpaper highway. It doesn't have to be much, but the parts clearly lose their toy character I just love this Bavarian Blue.
  12. hello, When I looked through the pictures of the original vehicle, I noticed that I hadn't taken care of the additional headlights yet. I naively assumed that I would find something suitable in my junk box. When I had the measurements and pictures sent to me, I was a bit shocked. They weren't just simple additional headlights, no, this 300 SL has Marchal Fantastic Fog Lights. Where can I get these diffusers or how can I build them myself? Then I got a tip: the IXO Volvo Amazon in 1:8 had such additional headlights.... I looked it up and sure enough, this kit had the parts I was looking for. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU again for this TIP I wrote to IXO and waited. Yesterday the doorbell rang and the postman handed me a bright orange envelope. For a moment I thought you knew an envelope like that and it was from IXO Collections from France. The contents: 2x the almost complete issue 1 of the Volvo 122S And here are some more pictures of the original Marchal Fantastic Fog Lights. I don't think you can imagine how relieved I am. Especially since I received the Volvo components as a gift from IXO. I expressed my concerns, sent a link to the construction report and described what I was going to do with their kit. It seems that they are very happy with my plan and what I have done so far.....
  13. Cela devient très, très difficile si vous utilisez les composants standards. J'ai nettoyé le raidisseur du carter d'huile et l'ai poncé un peu plus finement avec du papier de verre fin. Il tient toujours tout seul, mais peut être retiré relativement facilement.
  14. hello, just got the parts out of the spray booth. and again the blue looks completely different. It's raining outside, it's a bit darker than yesterday when the sun was shining and the same paint looks a lot darker. But it's beeeaaaautiful.
  15. Hello, I received the first pictures from the painter today, the first parts are now painted in DB 5374 Bavarian Blue. And again the paint looks completely different, the light makes such a difference. But the parts are beautiful, now I'm even more excited about assembling them.
