  1. Does anyone have turret rotation and if so was it working from the get-go ?or did you come up with a solution ,and what was that solution..? Agora what say you. you must have some sort of idea to solve this problem ... it would be nice to know that you are working on ways to resolve this issue and please don't refer me to the troubleshooting guide..

    Hi Clint,

The lights should blink as fares I know.  The head lights should come on when the running lights are blinking.  Can you check that the plugs are all properly inserted in the correct sockets.  However, it's probably a faulty part, either circuit board or cable, if both headlights aren't working.  Contact customer services and left them know the fault.  They will arrange replacement parts as necessary.

The smoke generator is quite noisy.  Only add about 20-40 drops of oil and you need to wait at least 30 seconds before smoke starts to appear.  Like most modern engines, this tank doesn't produce vast amounts of smoke.

Let customer services know about the lack of turret rotation.  They are investigating this issue with the manufacturer and will arrange replacement parts as necessary.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you kindly

  3. So things didn't go as bad as I thought.. there are a few issues maybe somebody give me a little input, the headlights don't don't come on ,the running lights are blinking as if they're in Hazard mode.. obviously the goal is to get the running lights to stop blinking and the headlights to come on, possibly some sequencing with the buttons might do the trick? drivetrain seems to be running fine, actually have the video camera working I will need to do a little work on Canon up and down, a little more filing and a little more sanding should hopefully take care of that issue.. the smoke generator seems to make a lot of noise should that be the case? also I don't have any smoke ,possibly didn't put enough liquid as I was worried that I would add too much. How much is too much?  And a popular problem seems to be no turret rotation so I will wait and see if you all come up with a solution to this problem ,doesn't seem to be any power to the turret motor?... thank you in advance....

Hey Clint, Agora doesn't really R&D anything as far as I can tell - they just import and sell kits that are available overseas. This tank, though is a mystery - I can't find it anywhere. There are other R/C models that are close, but this one is unique in the FPV camera (main selling point for me.)

The tub and suspension arms REALLYL should have been metal - especially at this price point. The tracks should have been pre built as well.

Anyhow pack 12 is pretty easy to figure out how to built for the most part.

Well it is obvious they didn't R&D this.. the obvious thing is to check something out before you push it on your customers. Unless of course you intentionally want to sell a crap product which I don't think Agora was trying to do, nonetheless so disappointed , I was against buying an RC product anyway I would have rather built a static tank kit.. but the advertisement made it look very interesting and I was taken. that being said it still will look pretty good on the Shelf... I hope Agoura makes this right for all their disappointed tank building customers... Build on my Brother...👍😎

Lack of clarity really isn't a good idea. Keep people informed and they'll be a lot more forgiving if there is a problem. And if there is a problem, ignoring it won't make it go away.

The delay to the instructions for pack 12 is a complete mystery. It's not as though Agora have gone to the expense of printing the instructions, so even if there were last minute edits, they should be available by now.

As Agora can't/won't clarify, we can only speculate. My guess would be they've identified a major problem somewhere (possibly the track issue that you spotted) and are trying to find a way of rectifyting this as cheaply as possible. Once again, some communication would be good, Agora...

Obviously their research and development department drop the ball on this one ,I'm hoping that this was just an isolated incident with this kit as I am looking forward to trying something different .. for $1,300 + I'm expecting upgrades comped to me haha, wishful thinking anyway.. for the price I believe we all thought we were going to get a much better quality kit.. it looks like we have been bamboozled.. that is why I'm going to stick to building static kits.,Just another lesson learned in life.. hopefully this post won't be deleted before anybody reads it😜

It's three weeks since this thread was posted. Surely, someone from Agora would have the courtesy to answer it by now?

This is a 'museum quality' model priced at well over £1,000, not a £10 toy from Argos. If it's going to break when we start using it, I think we deserve to be told. And we definitely shouldn't have to fork out for exepensive aftermarket parts just to get the thing to work.

I'm quite glad I haven't started this build yet. I'll be watching this thread very carefullly and if it does turn out to be a serious issue, I'll have to give serious consideration to returning the kit for a refund.

Clarity and transparency doesn't seem to be their thing ,if you want a quick response just use a wee bit of foul language... this may just get me kicked off..😜 also Agora Sam please don't send me an email asking for us to State our issues via e mail, because I have  and all the answers are generic and tell me nothing about the ongoing issues with this kit.. this is a FORUM people just want answers.. I will say you guys have been fabulous with replacing and sending missing parts other than that it's been a frustrating build, a little truth and honesty would go a long way ,still thinking about buying another kit from you folks but it definitely will be static this time...😁... by the way I thought I'd try one more time, how come we don't have instructions for Pac-12 let's see if we get an honest answer...

I never get emails regarding late deliveries unless I first ask.  It would be nice if Agora was more proactive and let us know what was going on.  Currently waiting on pack 10 of a one year build that should have ended in April.

    I fully concur

Hi Clint, have you contacted us via the website? Please do and we can update you on the next shipment. Thank you!

Come on Sam this is not my first barbecue... two weeks ago I received an email saying it would be on its way in one week, an hour ago I received an email saying it will be on its way next week anyway that's where we're at.. blah blah blah

  9. It's almost as if the kit was never assembled and tested before Agora put it on the market and now we have become the the engineers and they are learning from our feedback, quite frankly there have been issues since Pack 2... in 2 weeks they will owe me three packs, I know I'm not the only one in this position.. I know for me some honesty would be great, they haven't responded to my last email and  AgoraSam seems to have disappeared and I haven't heard from Sophie in some time.... and please don't tell us it's shipping issues again... so much for building models being a way to relieve stress.. thank you Agora for the extra unneeded stress,I was looking forward to moving on to something different with Agora but the way things are going doesn't look like it's going to happen... make it right Agora....!!!

  10. Just curious if the other kits come with the same aggravation some of us are having with the tank,, was told pack-10 was shipping a week ago that was two weeks ago.. each pack seems to be getting pushed back further. My build was going to be a gift in September but that doesn't look like it's going to happen, maybe you can entertain us one more time @AgoraSam.. on what the issue is...

  11. Yeah, I gave it a little effort didn't seem to budge looks like by the time I get it apart the parts are going to be pretty ugly, you would think with the numerous amount of times that we have to repeat this process there might be spares included,  I may just have them send a spare set... seem to be having a hard time getting any info on whether that would be the case with spares being included in the kit ?? definitely appreciate the reply thank you

  12. Tapped. Endcap on incorrectly was wondering being that this is such a repetitive process will there be spares or should I order an extra set. Not sure if it hinders performance, it doesn't seem like it's an issue it's just driving me nuts being that all the others will be correct
