Thanks for the tip, little things like this are incredibly helpful and can help those of us who are a bit behind others to avoid mistakes.
After the door hinge issue in pack 1, I decided to wait a few weeks after receiving a packet, to make sure there weren't any errata points later released. Breaking something because the order of assembly is a bit off is exactly what I had in mind. Since I'm still waiting for pack 6, the more info the better!
No worries. I put my post on both the official and members builds areas to make sure it caught the majority of peoples attention.
I see from the other post that at least two other people were caught out by this. It would be nice if Agora got in touch and offered to send out a replacement gear stick and gator. Like others, I've glued mine together and it's waiting to be refitted later.

Modelers. In pack 6, stage 043, step 41 DO NOT INSERT THE GEAR STICK YET This can be done later. Please do not do what I have just done.... snap the gear stick off!!!! Later there is a lot of work to do on the underside of the cockpit floor and the gear stick is vulnerable to breaking in half.... trust me. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.

That sir is brilliant! So, you've basically created an expansion fitting to tension the pins when you invert the wheel?
I was having some trouble with the tissue wad with this last wheel, I just figured I'd not stuffed it well enough.
I really appreciate you're telling us how to properly "get stuffed"....... with the alignment of the pins on our wheel. 😁
Thanks so much- I'm going to give this a whirl.
Ha ha! No worries, never been thanked before for telling people to "get stuffed" 👍

Like others here on this forum, I also struggled with the pins of the wire wheels, especially when turning it over to align the inner rim spokes. So I got some 8mm OD nylon tube and found that it needed about two wraps of insulation tape. This then goes into the center hub. I inserted a 4mm bolt through the nylon tube and wheel with a couple of washers and nut. When tightened up it expands enough to keep all the pins in place whilst I turn the wheel over and align the spokes, then tighten down the inner wheel rim.
Please see attached photos. These were obviously taken after I'd put the tyre on after a soak in boiling hot water... good excuse to stop for a coffee.
I hope this helps some of you.

Great post,
I wish my pack 3 would hurry up now.
Ditto. I wish there was an option to buy all now.

Loving the ""seasoned" exhaust manifolds" it really makes it look like it's got a few miles on the clock rather than a pristine straight off the production line model.
I saw that someone had done similar with the chrome exhaust pipes on the Shelby Cobra and have always wished that I could have the requisite painting skills to copy it.

Hi, I might be a bit late to the table, but has anyone suggested the 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback from Bullitt?
Surely it has to be right up there with Bond's DB5 as an all time classic film car.

As a quick update - I have ordered a new replacement gator and gear stick from Agora, they're costing me £10, but I just want it right.
I shall screw the gator on from the under side, but I won't be inserting the gear stick until at least the second seat is installed for more protection.
