  1. Not sure if this counts but thought id post it. Its a kit per say by i got the 3d model render of it and instructions and now im building it slowly piece by piece. Especially since it has to be 3d printed then assembled after getting the components. Im still in the printing phase.

I started with a ender 3 v2 and recently got a K1 Max so its speeding up. When its done it should be actually flyable but i just want it as a model mainly.

  2. 1: Blown 383 supercharged V8 chevy internal combustion engine,

2: Space X Starship and booster combo with mechazilla tower holding it on its launch platform. Theres a lot of available schematics available to produce a very detailed model of it since its being build publicly.

  3. HERE'S THE MOST RECENT PACK UPDATE

I need to go through my photos and grab the rest still. Just been very busy with emergencies from missing family to floods. Loving the build time still. One thing i wish was redone or different about the build thats really the only disappointment is the parts the the laminated cables connect to use thin plastic pins to secure the ends of the metal cables that dont bend to form so they put to much strain on the plastic pegs, which in my case at least they broke a couple while i was still being as careful as i could to not have that happen but it still did unfortunately and theres nothing really that will resecure it so i have to find a better alternative, or leave the parts off entirely or the cables themselves. They look good but the mounting parts should have either been cast in metal as well or the cable be a little more plyable or bendable so it could hold a shape you need to relieve the stress that would be applied to the connection points.

  4. The money has been charged to my card, and havent gotten an email about the shipment or anything. The instructions are downloadable, but i am not getting any heads up. Its really iffy where i live because the delivery ppl never require signature so it end up getting left on the front step, and theres tons of mail theft here so i have to be here to get any packages when they get delivered or deal with a very high chance of never getting it and noone replaces mail left on porch so some regular notification about the status and dates would be great, especially when ive already payed for the pack.

    Ahhh, but *which* one?

A thru D, you have a choice.  D is the most iconic, with the full bubble canopy, but the 3 models earlier were neat too...

Just the plain p-51. Well the version the germans feared the most. The P-38 would also be a great and fun one.

Hi there! Welcome to the partworks world.

I got back into model building thanks to partworks models. I started with the now ill-fated Enterprise-D from Eaglemoss, fell down a rabbit hole by watching World of Wayne, and started with Agora because of their Titanic model. It's a great company. I have nothing but good to say about them so far. And the model is great, especially with the mods I'm actually doing on it. More of that on my channel, though.

    Glad to have you here!

That must be a great build. May have to add it to the list of ones to do. So far for myself im pretty impressed with Agora as well. Cant say ive had any real issues at all. The quality is great and method of building the models is nice way of handling it. Ill checkout your feed though and see what your working on!

  7. And i have an addiction to building things. I formed this habbit awhile ago and i dont have the power in me or the strength to stop. Its something i fear will be with me for the remainder of my days. Usually ill be out back for hours justifying the urge. I have been able to get my hands on some of that Porsche 917 packs and whooooeeeee ill tell you what, im hooked. Now they catch me looking out the front door peeking for the delivery man to show with my next fix. Must have more till its completely in working order.

Oh yeah, back to the point. Used to do the plastic builds here and there. They were alright. But for the most part i always enjoyed building things from scratch either with some rough idea or plans i found. Or from a very specific idea that basically is complete in my head like the auto tapper i made before phones had apps to tap somewhere on the screen for you, i made a device to do basically the same thing, all you had to do was lay it down and turn it on. But you get the point. Its nice however to be building something especially thats a scale version of something thats history. Also i dont have to do the hard work of fabricating all of the parts from other parts or materials. Cant wait to work on more of the models offered here. So far im having a blast.

  8. I agree they do. The thing i noticed about the seats in the cobra build was between the two sides, either the leather was different from one to the other, or the stitching was done differently or by different hands because the quality difference was very obvious. This would have been a great alternative in that.

Theres a big flocking difference and it looks good. Im still waiting for my pack to show up but i havent even been emailed that its been shipped yet.

    Good work!

    Hey all,

    Regarding the pedal assembly question:

I assembled the pedal assy Sunday evening. No issues, just wish I had an extra hand or two to hold the various bits when trying to slide the pin through all of the 3 pedals. No additional filling or drilling reqd.

    Other notes from Pack 4;

    Ignition Wires

In the same pack I did find the second length of orange tubing was not included. Agora is sending replacement. First side installed well by inserting 0.6mm wire inside of the tubing (5mm shorter than required tube length) prior to securing both ends. I also used 0.3 wire to bundle each of the 2 main wire bundles on their way to the distributor. Highly recommend using tne 0.6mm (or 0.5mm) inside the tube runs. If anyone needs more information, please reach out. I will use this technique on the Ferrari 312-T4 ignition and other tubing. I wish I had used the wire on my Shelby Cobra build!

    Phil

Yeah the same technique i had to used for the radiator hosing that comes out from each side of it. As far as the spark plug wires i didnt think about using it to but i was worried with how some of them look, even cutting at the specified lengths they seem to pull to snuggly on the distributor cap that it seems willl eventually puncture through the tubing thats used.

The cobra build was fun wasnt it?

  10. Nothing special on my end considering im leaving it completely as is from the factory though customizing would be nice, which i do have to say i like what others have done on there builds. Im sorta new/partially experienced. Only saying that because ive grown up through my childhood doing the plastic models here and there but not a constant thing. However i also like to build custom things from sculpture which im just starting to play with, and have always been into drawing, but something this detailed is a nice experience and it feels like it actually is high quality material and product design. While i have been waiting for new packs to release, im building a valve-less pulse jet engine just to have fun with and kill some time. I havent really take. Pictures previously of the build as i built what i have so far but ill post what ive gotten together so far and will try to post in the future more as i build to add to this. Hope you enjoy this as much as i have!
