Modifications and Upgrades to Bismarck

We have started a new section of this forum especially for modifications and upgrades of big-scale models. 

We have invited various 'upgraders' to use that part of the site to showcase any modifications they do, and they are free to 'sell their wares' and self-promote their services. We also hope they will assist and advise on the topic. We at Agora do not endorse or receive payments for any upgrades they promote, however we do love the idea of personalising models and so welcome the 'moders'! It will be fun to see what else can be done with models (from any manufacturer).

Small mod to do away with the horrible KNOT front post light, i got a new piece of fibre optic and painted the outer black to prevent light bleed , pushed it up the pole until you could see it in the gap then cut to length and thats it, simples😁   and IMO a lot better than the knot  👍

I did similar to do away with knots before I ever read this lol, great minds think alike

Im at this stage of the build - can you tell me more about doing away with the Knot and painting a fiber optic cable ?  Cant I just use the existing one and paint it black ?  Any advice is appreciated.

I had a go at this and managed to kill it. Anyone know where I can get replacement Fibre optic cable
