General question about the 1:8 Cobra 427 model

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

 

1. Does the horn button work and have sound? On the website it’s mentioned the horn does make sound but looking at the instruction it doesn’t seem there’s any actuation of the horn or space for a button in the steering wheel.

 

2. Does the suspension work? The A-arms look like they articulate but I can’t tell if the springs are functional.

 

3. Is the carpet bare plastic or will it have flocking/velvet applied?

 

4. Will the gauges have a clear plastic “glass” like the GT500 model?

Will there be a starter motor
Will there be an oil dipstick tube
Will there be fuel hoses supplying the carburetors

questions already asked and remained unanswered for the moment

Hi Pierre, i think you got already your answer, the engine is complete and

like some other kits, no start motor and dipstick tube and hoses.

If you want to add them, you must fabricate them yourself !!!!!

Enjoy your build, i see these kind of kits as a base to start, and

you can add as many details as you like to make a model of the Cobra.

here is the text of the ad from the first page when we go on the offer for the model

but maybe that: sure as the politicians say: the promises only engage those who listen to them, not those who make them.

Hi Pierre,

You're right, but promises and reality are two things of a different kind.

Like i said it's a good base to start, the main thing is that they make this kind

of models so that everybody can put them together, and are very simplified.

But if you have the skills you can made a beauty of it.

It's a pity that promises and reality are not the same thing.
