Stage 46 gives us the steering column, and this stage is quite a tricky assembly.

Take the indicator switch, which has the yellow plug, and insert it in the steering column cover.  The cable does need to be bent quite sharply and is fed out of the slot at the end of the cover.

Take the horn switch, which has the blue plug, and insert that in the cover too.

Take the indicator stalk and fit the small spring.  It is slightly tapered so will only stay in place when the narrow end is pushed over the pin.  Be careful, the carpet monsters seem to like these small, springy parts!

Place the indicator stalk in the cover with the spring going over the horn switch.  This is the tricky part, the spring likes to fall off!

Feed the horn cable through the slot at the end of the cover.

Put the other half of the cover in place and screw it together.  Now check that you can feel/hear the clocks when you push the lever in and also when you pull it down.

This completes the stage.
