should I get the Porsche 917?

I saw this car race at the 1000k of Spa back in 1971 and thinking about building it...bottom line, is it worth all that cash?

Hi Mark, I'm so very grateful to my Dad for taking me to this race, I was a fan of F1 and Sir Jackie Stewart at the time. F1 canceled the Spa race that year for safety concerns, remember that was the long track back then. I was twelve at time I still have the Program and a grid sheet that I picked up from the ground in the paddock.....now would you look at those seats!!!! 

The hard part of those memory's, is that we lost Pedro Rodríguez and Jo Siffert just a few short months after this race....Cheers to some of the fastest racers who ever got behind the wheel...Legends

So to end this on a bright note, I just got tickets to the Porsche Rennsport Reunion at Laguna Seca Raceway ....Hopefully My Dad will be there in spirit.
