Thanks John, I'm really pleased with the way this is coming on.  I looked at the seatbelt hooks and thought they were going to be trouble, but mine went in with no problem at all.  Glad Agora CS got you sorted quickly!  I'm looking forward to the next pack now!

I'm a bit late uploading these packs.  Life got in the way!  Anyway, on to Pack 8.

Stage 57 The fuel tank

51286533273_3f7298c05b_b.jpg

Take the trunk board assembly with wires, and arrange them like this.

51287378195_a051961dd8_b.jpg

Screw on the fuel tank, and you should have something like this.

51285615817_42b2599266_b.jpg

Stage 58.  The rear trunk.

51286533218_fc834828ef_b.jpg

Fit the two parts together.

51285615637_fcc463e460_b.jpg

Add the fuel tank, and you end up with something like this.

51285615612_a45bd9f07c_b.jpg

Stage 59 Fuel pumps, etc.

51286362741_ee106759e7_b.jpg

The fuel pumps are pushed into the trunk bulkhead.

51287081944_56110c2cfb_b.jpg

The first pipes go on next.  I ended up using a drop of superglue applied from underneath to secure the front ends of the pipes, where the go into the trunk floor.

51287081934_2015d52674_b.jpg

Then the other two pipes are fitted.  If you look carefully you can see where one of the pipes has pulled out fo the floor, hence the need for superglue.

51286362611_a07a067146_b.jpg

Finally the trunk lid support is fitted.

Stage 60 Rear fender part

51286362931_4fc8ab79f0_b.jpg

Feed the cables through the rear fender, paint attention to the cable numbers.

51287378310_49dcb6aebb_b.jpg

Screw the tank and truck assembly to the rear fender

51286362926_293b5678c5_b.jpg

Then add the cable clip.

Stage 61 The Firewall.

Moving to the front of the car, we start with the firewall.  Nothing to do but admire this part.

51287082259_8642410df0_b.jpg

Stage 62 The speaker

51287082239_360dfcf824_b.jpg

Nothing too challenging with fitting the speaker!

51286362866_e114b87572_b.jpg

Stage 63 Gubbins for the firewall.

51285615827_644e38aa80_b.jpg

Just follow the instructions to add the details.  I found some of the cables were a little loose, but were easily secured with superglue.  Just use a tiny drop.

51287082194_3e47dafb27_b.jpg

51286362771_5be976808a_b.jpg

Stage 64 continues with the firewall details.

51286362736_8b776b4062_b.jpg

Again, just follow the instructions, adding tiny drops of superglue where it's needed to hold cables.

51286533138_fb5a4e3be8_b.jpg

This completes this pack, but here's the gratuitous overall shot of the model with the new parts put in place

On the Pack 9.

Stage 65 the drivers seatbelt brackets and roll cage.

51286360541_9008de81b3_b.jpg

Find the roll bar from pack 1 and attach the seatbelt bracket and eye bolts.

51285613272_fba6bd83d6_b.jpg

Clip in the seat belts, noting the orientation of the buckles.

51286530788_2fb682f7e0_b.jpg

Add the roll bar section.

Stage 67 the steering shaft.

51287079619_31fe8f65da_b.jpg

First, take the advice from the expert and rethread the screw hole for the cam caver in this bracket.  I hadn't done it in this photo, but it's really good advice!
Then screw the bracket to the chassis.

51287079614_2cfedc9a89_b.jpg

Fiddle the shaft into position.  It's not too difficult with tweezers.

51286530663_5acb8babfb_b.jpg

Then fit the cover (sorry, I forgot to take that photo.)

Stage 68 The setting rack and column.

51285613117_cc4211ce95_b.jpg

Tap the steering wheel onto the steering column.  I used a small block of wood so I could tappy tap tap right on the centre of the steering wheel without damaging it.
Then it just drops into the firewall.

51286530643_9c1c3575b0_b.jpg

Then add the steering rack with the springs.

51285613397_1243577822_b.jpg

Stage 69 The trunk lid.

51286530968_17b487b2a1_b.jpg

These parts are easily fitted.

51286530958_632e707c40_b.jpg

Stage 70 The license plate and hinges.

51286530963_ee20704977_b.jpg

Hinges fit thus.

51287079809_530470162e_b.jpg

And the license plate goes here.

Stage 71 The Door, well, one of them anyway.

51287079799_a02227a14a_b.jpg

Screw the door card in place.

51286360521_2d063ff95c_b.jpg

Then push the rivets in the top.  I used the end of a paint brush handle to avoid damaging anything.  Some of them needed a fairly good shove!

51285613252_16551a76ac_b.jpg

Stage 72 the door hinge and catch.

Firstly, that spring is really tiny!  Don't feed it to the carpet monster!  The carpet monster loves tiny springs!  His favourite food!!!!

51285613207_92b3ca3b21_b.jpg

Push the print on to the handle.

51285613217_fea1e8b134_b.jpg

Then fit the handle and hinge to the door.  Don't over tighten the OP15 screw.

51286360371_e5a2973286_b.jpg

Stage 73 The right door.

This is simply a repeat of stage 71.

51286360331_ca25394127_b.jpg

That completes this stage.  No gratuitous overall shot this time as there's no easy way of putting this packs parts in place until we get the bodywork.

On with pack 10.

Start with stage 74 which is the passenger door hinge and catch

51317241409_7e995ea13e_b.jpg

Assembly is exactly the same as the driver's door back in stage 72.  Here's the finished assembly.

51316512801_6d3cdf35f8_b.jpg

Stage 75 gives us the windscreen frame.

51315779637_e09a49dd9a_b.jpg

Nothing to do with this just yet.

Stage 76 gives us the left sun shade and wind deflector.

51317241304_0861509b52_b.jpg

You have to prise open the brackets, fit them on the frame, and then squeeze them shut.  It works well as the metal is soft and doesn't spring.

51317522345_39be46a330_b.jpg

Stage 77 is the right shade and deflector.

51317522355_ed2a365036_b.jpg

Rinse and repeat!

51317241229_57e61fdde1_b.jpg

Stage 78 is the wind screen

51317241234_6d119bafc3_b.jpg

This just clips in.

51316725308_67c8f9a75e_b.jpg

Stage 79 gives us the radiator and oil cooler

51316512706_ae14ae3e7e_b.jpg

The front photo-etch grill screws in place.  The screws are tiny!  And fiddly!!

51316512716_8a4d7c821f_b.jpg

The rear of the oil cooler is just dropped in place.  Then the tabs on the front are bent over, the front dropped in place, and the tabs bent the secure it all.

51316725293_eab334335f_b.jpg

Stage 80 continues with the radiator.

51315779752_2b8045ef14_b.jpg

The back is screwed in place.

51316725488_0437bfb494_b.jpg

Then the etched grill is screwed in place.  More fiddly screws!!

51317241434_9b3dc15196_b.jpg

Stage 81 is the radiator fans and oil cooler mounting bracket.

51317522565_c36676e705_b.jpg

The oil cooler clips in place, and that's it for now.

51317241389_4aa5f2f69c_b.jpg

Stage 82 is the radiator mounting bracket.

51317522530_5733309633_b.jpg

The fans screw into place.

51315779667_8dc72efe55_b.jpg

Then the oil cooler assembly clips into place.

51317522475_198fcebe96_b.jpg

And that's it for this pack.  No gratuitous shot of the overall model as we need the body to fit these parts.  Hopefully that will come in the next stage.

Those are not the engine mounts.  They are the top of the front suspension.

You can see in this photo that the engine is further back.  I hope this helps.

Ce ne sont pas les supports moteur. Ils sont le haut de la suspension avant.

Vous pouvez voir sur cette photo que le moteur est plus en arrière. J'espère que ça aide.

Pack 11, and we get a huge and gorgeous body!!

Stage 83,  Oil cooler brackets and hoses.

51567207632_31c6137f99_b.jpg

The two brackets click in place and are secured with a screw in each.

51568248073_265d1eb124_b.jpg

Now we screw the radiator in place.

51568248088_8906f5b900_b.jpg

Now fit the two hoses.  A tiny drop of superglue will hold them if they are loose, but only a tiny drop!  Make sure you get these the right way round.

51568687869_d066cf3d4e_b.jpg

That's this stage completed.

Stage 84 gives us the expansion tank and air inlets

51568004111_50fe58bc07_b.jpg

The air inlets screw to the rad assembly.

51567183807_1f3dec6eba_b.jpg

The base of the expansion tank is screwed to the bracket on the engine.  The cap is screwed to the top, and then the top and bottom clip together.

51567185127_0f656f17e6_b.jpg

That completes stage 84.

Stage 85.  The one we've all been waiting for!!  And it is worth the wait.  Not only is it one of the best looking sports cars ever designed, the finish is brilliant.  It's just gorgeous.

51568664439_67ef315c6f_b.jpg

Now let's get to work!

Firstly, put down cloth of some sort to protect the paintwork when you're working on the body.  I use a towel.  You don't want to scratch the paintwork.

Fitting the door catches is easy, but add a drop of lubricant to the screw holes to help the screws go in without stripping the heads.

51567182177_da388a81b1_b.jpg

Now add the dashboard.  The fitted nicely with just a couple of screws.

51567185202_6cffa3599e_b.jpg

Fitting the doors.
I like to fit the doors when they are in the closed position as it helps to make sure the fit properly.
Put the door in position, then hold it in place with some masking tape.  Note, masking tape, not Cellotape, or parcel tape, and most definitely not duct tape!  Masking tape will come off cleanly without leaving a residue.  Other tapes may leave sticky marks or even worse, pull the paint off.

Anyway, once the door is taped in position, fit the screws and then carefully remove the tape.  Make sure it opens and closes nicely.

51568665339_07a17f7318_b.jpg

They look the bees knees !

Stage 86, assorted details.

51568720024_f1b5044db7_b.jpg

Firstly, the wing mirror (or side mirror as it's an American car which has fenders not wings, and fender mirror just sounds silly!!)

Assembly the mirror, using tweezers to add the reflective sticker.  Then screw it in place.  Be careful not to damage this while the car is upside down.  It's a little vulnerable.

51567235997_5911874355_b.jpg

Add the hinges to the hood.

51568275513_ca7b652d44_b.jpg

Then attach the radiator bracket and mounting plate.  Easy stuff.

51568032511_4f1874b3bd_b.jpg

Finally retrieve the Shelby emblem from your box of parts, digging all the way back to pack 1, and fit this to the body.

51567236427_36e567cd79_b.jpg

This completes stage 86.

Stage 87 left inner side panel.

51568032586_c33dde5304_b.jpg

The chrome trim clips into the side panel, and the panel is fitted to the body with 3 screws.

51568033261_4a70525ca2_b.jpg

Stage 88 right inner side panel.

51568964540_42444501ab_b.jpg

Same as above!

51568003021_3d00582111_b.jpg

Now fit the firewall.  This clicks into place and locates positively, but it's bit fiddly to get in.  A couple of screws makes sure it isn't going anywhere.

Stage 89 Electrical wires

51567209242_88034cf3a0_b.jpg

These just clip together, matching the numbers.

51568037671_04581cb565_b.jpg

Stage 90 Grill and front jacking points.

51567998136_9f0f4e2e59_b.jpg

The grill goes on with one screw.

51568928130_95f2c9148c_b.jpg

The jacking points each go on with one screw.

51567980441_7b48cab24a_b.jpg

Finally for this stage, a gratuitous shot showing the car loosely assembled!

Here is the build of the last pack.

Stage 91. Grill and jacking points.

51663963893_2c884e6cd7_b.jpg

This is an easy stage.  The two jacking points are screwed in place.

51664411214_cbcac5a48a_b.jpg

The grill goes on easily too.

51663732211_d7c1ec739f_b.jpg

Put the hood in place and taped it down so it doesn't fall open.  Use masking tape as it comes off without leaving any residue.

51664608770_fe1e5ef483_b.jpg

Now fit the radiator assembly as per the instructions.  It's a little fiddly to get right, but it does locate solidly and holds the hinges firmly.
