Issues with decking fitment? Holes don't line up with base

I attached the decking for both the well deck and the forecastle last night, and it seems like the hole alignment is quite off from the plastic bases.

It seems like the decking is too wide for the base. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm trying to figure out if I somehow caused this or if it's a manufacturing defect.spacer.pngspacer.png
