Pack 8 - Stage 64. The instruments and steering wheel.

Stage 64 gives us loads of bits!!  These are for the dash, and the steering wheel.

Fit the heater controls to the dash.  These are a push fit.

Using tweezers, carefully apply the instrument sticker.

Again using tweezers, apply the speedo and tacho dial sticker to the mounting bracket.

Put the instrument glass in place in tieback of the dash.

Fit the microswitch in the dash as shown. Make sure the wires go either side of the screw post.

Fit the instrument mounting bracket in place.  This will hold the microswitch in place.  The bracket is secured with two screws.

The front of the dash should look like this.

Moving on to the secondary instruments, put the instrument glass in place on the back if the dash panel.

Put the dash panel with glass over the dashboard centre.  This is held with 2 screws.

the bracket that holds the micro switch needs to be fixed with a single screw.

Place the control stalk in the steering column.

Add the steering column.

Note how the bushes are located.

Fit the other half of the steering column and screw it together with two screws.

Try the steering wheel in place.  You can scrap off excess paint if it's too tight.

The steering wheel fits like this.

Fit the steering column to the dashboard with 4 screws.

This completes the stage and the Pack.
