Pack 6 - Stage 53. Tail wheel retract mechanism.

Stage 53 gives us the tail wheel retract mechanism and the servo tester board.

Firstly, don't bother trying to use the servo tester board just yet.  You need a cable that is supplied in stage 59.

Take the tail wheel strut halves and fifth piston rod and wheel.

Superglue the two halves of the strut together.  Keep the glue well away from the wheel and piston rod though.

Add the shock absorber cylinder.

Place this on the left side tail gear frame.

Fit the right side frame in place with a couple of screws.

Push the lever arm in place.  This needs a bit of fiddling to get it to seat properly and it needs to fit inside the hole in the frame. Fix it with a small screw.

Finally, add the bracket.

This completes the stage and the pack.
