Stage 7 gives us the base of the engine and a hull joining plate. (excuse the screws still being in bags.  There are several types and I didn't want to get them mixed up!!)

Add the catwalk first.  Note that the ladders go nearest the gear wheel.  It's fixed with 4 screws, and a little lubricant helps with these screws.

If you didn't catch the error is stage 3, you'll need to remove the plate 3N and turn it around. The below photos shows how the instructions tell you to fit it, but the shape doesn't match the recess in the engine base (7B).

Simply remove the keep plate 3N and refit it the other way round.

Now you can fit the engine base and secure it with 6 AP screws and 4 FM screws.

The engine is starting to look like and engine now.  More parts come soon.

Finally for this stage, add the hull joining plate.  You'll need to remove the name plate to expose the screw holes, then screw the plate in place.

Now you can put the name plate back, but I suggest that you don't glue it in place, at least until we're sure that it won't need to come off again!!

That completes this stage.
