Stage 11 gives us the propellor motor.

Place the motor into the housing supplied earlier.  Make sure the electrical plug is properly seated and that the cables don't get trapped by the screw holes or edges of the housing.

Please the other housing half on top and screw them together.

Now push the crank case front housing over the front of the motor housing.

Take the wiring loom  from stage 4 and the push rods for stage 10.

P5140015.thumb.JPG.d2642f50200dd69d3380383cc986f473.JPG

Push the three pins of the loom into the pushrod ring.  These don't need glue as they will be trapped in place later int he assembly.

Now push these over the electric motor assembly and fix it with 2 screws.

Take the two cylinder banks and identify which is which.  The one on the right in my photo is from stage 9, which is fitted first.  Note the position of the screw holes in relation to the centre lobed hole.P5140018.thumb.JPG.611423dc905fbf3d011f12d0e1e144af.JPG

Take the cylinder bank from stage 9 and push it over the motor casing.

Note how the push rods fit under the rocker covers.

Now add the second bank of cylinders.

P5140022.thumb.JPG.8526f75037ada31cbd3cc57769679390.JPG

Take the first plug lead and glue it to the cylinder as shown.  A tiny drop of super glue will hold it firmly.  The instructions don't mention gluing the plug leads, but I don't fancy trying to reinsert them all if they decide to pop out!!

The longer lead goes under the oil pipe and over the cylinder head.

Then it's glued into the cylinder.

Repeat for all the plug leads.

The leads were clipped into he cylinder head shields and also held with a tiny drop of superglue as they were reluctant to stay put.

Before adding the pushrods to the rear of the engine, take the pushrods and inlet manifold from stage 10.  Test fit these together.  I found that the hole in the push rods disc was a little small and needed drilling out a little.

P5160033.thumb.JPG.fee46a8d9ee7f152828781748b06c584.JPG

They should fit together with almost no gap between them.

P5160034.thumb.JPG.f56cf45ebf2142fe4953208241935be3.JPG

Now separate them and fit the push rods to the engine.

Finally, fit the front frame to the engine.  You may need to scrape the pins on the rocker covers to get an easy fit, but do a dry fit before applying super glue.
