Putting on German Detail on bow of the ship

I see some of you guys  have put the Nazi Flag on the front of your Bismark ( which you can still see on the Bismarck wreck )  as you get the Bow part fairly early in the build  do you put the transfer on there & Then as it would be much easier to do. Or do you do it much later in the Build?

Put the Decals on first then assemble as i did !

Thanks is it easy to do is there much cutting to do or do they give you a template

For me pretty easy. Just masked off. Spray painted red back round, Put decal on.  Then use micro set and micro sol to bed the decal in. I then add weathering to blend everything in.  Bottom pic shows the decal sheet i bought from custom hobby decals.  Simples 🙂

Do it first up as nothing gets in the way with taping and overspray.Also same goes when you do the stern.Remember unlike other german ships the swastikka goes north /south not on an angle.See other posts with pictures to guide you.
