Front Wing Treads

I decided to paint the 4 tread strips on the front off side wing silver too match the actual WLT857 routemaster bus as many had them painted silver see attached pics i know my mod isn't the best paint job my hands aren't that steady i should've painted them whilst they were still attached to the sprue but hey ho i don't think they look to bad

I wanted to do them but was scared I'd cock them up some RMs were silver or black yourself good

i got a tin of humbrol silver and a very fine brush and a cotton wool bud to wipe off any mistakes it wasn't to difficult to do

Looking good. Any tips on how you got the treads to sit flush with the boy as mine are sticking up. Was thinking of using a drop of satin varnish to stick them down.

hi Richard i just screwed them down nothing else you could use a tiny drop of super glue midway between each screw my only regret was not painting them before i removed them from the sprue but they're not to obvious i think
