I guess I should start off one of these threads. My first pack has departed the shores of Old Blighty, and is enroute to New Zealand. I am allowed to be excited now I think lol.

Happy to report my build has commenced. My first pack was waiting in my doorstep when I got home from work. Have completed stages 1-4 so far. Next onto the first suspension arm in stage 5 but that will have to wait until tomorrow. Departed UK 7/1, arrived 17/1. Not bad for an 18,000km journey given the current climate.

And that’s pack 1 complete. Now an agonising wait for pack 2.

Pack 2 is now on the way. Looking forward to the next installment. By the time it arrives in NZ, it will be close to the time for pack 3 to be paid for so hopefully it moves along a bit quicker over these next 2 packs.

And pack 2 is now completed. I know that watching videos on YouTube showing people building the bus shows just how big it is, but you really don’t realise the actual size until it’s in your hand. These chassis parts are huge and heavy. Can’t wait for pack 3!

Received an email this morning saying my Pack 3 is finally shipping, 15 days after payment was taken. Has anyone heard anything about whether subs from down under like me will have theirs shipped from Aus yet? I seem to recall it being said pack 1 would ship from the UK but then they would ship from Aus for the rest. Hasn’t happened yet.

Joy turned to disappointment today with the arrival of pack 3. The pack containing the drive unit pieces, stage 22 I believe, was missing from my box, so at this point pack 3 is 90% done. Hopefully they get it sent asap.

that must be so frustrating especially since it has so far to travel i hope you get it soon

Yep very frustrating. I’ve got the front axle fitted and the gearbox finished and fitted, but that’s as far as I can go to actually fitting to the chassis since the prop shaft needs to go into the drive unit and then into the engine. So the engine is finished and ready to fit, the radiator is finished and ready to fit, just can’t do anything about it haha.

Hate to rub it in but im on pack 6 here in UK which goes to lower saloon seating roof and rear stairs fitted

Haha yeah yeah show off lol. I’ll be asking them to send me whatever packs available in a fortnight on my next payday. 3 packs in one go should keep me going for a fair while I’d say haha. Couldn’t resist temporarily fitting the engine either. Can always remove it again once the drive unit arrives.

i was the same started on the 24mth plan but when i fell behind waiting for pack 3 and seeing others on with build i thought sod it it's only another £44 a month so contacted customer service and bumped up to 12mthly and was glad i did

My missing Drive Unit from stage 22 has been posted. By the time it arrives in nz, pack 4 will be on its way to me too.

Pack 4 complete. Couldn’t resist posing everything together. Nothing fixed down yet of course. Roll on pack 5.

Very surprised to have both pack 5 AND 6 arrive in one box this time. It’s really getting big now and bloody heavy too! Posed with roof and lower deck just placed in position for now. I don’t wanna wait 2 months for pack 7. Might have to have a chat with Agora and see if they can take a double payment next week for  pack 7 to be sent. Anyone done this? Can they do it? Fingers crossed.

i started on the 24 month plan but couldn't wait 2 months for each pack so up graded to the 12 month plan no problem im not sure if you can just pay for 1 pack like that but you can only ask agora are very good at customer service

Pack 7 arrived this week. Missing one seat as one of the seat cushions was the wrong orientation. Replacement on its way. Looking good.

Been a little while since I’ve posted to this thread. Just finished packs 9 & 10.

And that is that. My bus is all finished. My hands are painful, my eyes are screw shaped, and I never want to see another piece of red anything for a long time lol. Overall, a fantastic model, very enjoyable to build (even though a few moments caused anguish and swearing) and I’m very pleased I went ahead and did it. Display case arriving soon so it will be protected. One change I will do if there is a next time, clean all the window interiors before they are unreachable lol. And now to carry on with my 1/200 Trumpeter Titanic. Peace out everyone ✌️
