  1. I don't know if Agora designs their own models, or merely purchases the right to produce and sell pre-engineered models, BUT... If the former, I think that the Antikythera Mechanism might be a good kit to market and sell. Intricate, full of brass parts and a really nice display piece. If the latter, Eaglemoss had the rights to the Orrery, and might be up for grabs after their unfortunate demise.
  2. My patience, while great, is finite. It has now come to an end. With a non-functional tank, no notification of a repair pack even being sent, and overall poor communication, This kills any desire for me to build another partwork kit again, which is a shame, because the Optimus Prime build looked interesting. I'm done now, and have this $1800 CDN white elephant staring at me from the shelf. Goodbye Agora. -Mike
  3. Ahhh, but *which* one? A thru D, you have a choice. D is the most iconic, with the full bubble canopy, but the 3 models earlier were neat too...
  4. A caveat here: I don't work for Agora at all. I too am a paying customer. I too have a non-working tank. I too am frustrated. You want to know what the difference is between us? I'm patient, my life doesn't seem to hinge on this model and above all, I am polite when dealing with Agora. I don't feel the need to publicly bash them and constantly complain on the message boards. If they come up with a solution, I *may* consider more partwork models from them. If they don't, I'm done with partwork kits, since they are the only ones that ship to Canada. Pretty simple: I accept my losses and move on. I'm encouraged by the fact that they are releasing an upgrade kit to us, for free, but I'm not really holding my breath.
  5. I am taking my time, having replaced the rider wheels on the upper section of the tracks, and am being slow and methodical. I'll be able to tell you if it works in a couple of weeks.
  6. It's a good thing I caught this because it didn't "feel" right during assembly. My 2 packs of replacement springs were mis-labeled. The Right side springs were in the L bag, and vice-versa. The new springs are a significant increase to the stiffness of the suspension.
  7. Just a heads-up. If you go for the after-market rollers, you'll want to use a good self-etching primer on the aluminum to ensure good adhesion for the paint. I'm using Rust-oleum as my base coat (after disassembly) and Tamiya TS-61 for my NATO green coat. Pics to come in a few days.
  8. Further research is that it is FS 34094 NATO Green, which is represented in the Tamiya acrylic line as XF-67. If you want a rattle can in the same brand, it would be TS-61.
  9. Well, once DHL passes mine off to USPS, it's no more than a week to get to the west coast of Canada. Currently it's sitting in DHL's processing center in Avenel NJ waiting to go to USPS in Jamaica NY.
  10. I just bought a set of metal wheels too. Now to figure out what the correct colour of paint is....
  11. Shipping email received!

    Pack 11

Excellent news! When do you estimate the Pack 12 instructions will go live?
  13. Those look aftermarket. Who produces them?

    Pack 11

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Pack 11

One would think that the models would have been built and tested before release to the paying public. 🤷‍♂️
