  1. So I have a similar problem with the baseboard. My question is this: Is the base and lifters supposed to initialize when the base power is turned on, OR when the power is on and you press the power button on the remote? Mine operates after I use the remote, but 2 lifters stop and one continues to run until I turn the base power off.
  2. Did anyone have an issue fitting the top wings to the frame? There is a small gap between the top wing and bottom wing in the area between the fuselage and the gun, on both wings. I made sure there was nothing impeding them, no stray wires, etc. I pressed the bottom and top as much as I dared. Guess I'll have to live with it. It's not awful.
  3. Thanks I had already decided to do the same. Especially the ones where I had to shorten the pins.
  4. Did you by chance have to glue the exhaust pipes after all?
  5. So I'm a little late to this party. Is there any word on when the display case will be available? All I have left to do is the rigging and add the planes. It's been at this point for almost a year now. I haven't really been in any hurry till I have a display case. Meanwhile I've been building the Zero fighter. Working on Pack 8 and Pack 9 should be shipping in the next day or so.
  6. I haven't had a problem with it.
  7. My alkaline batteries went dead after 1 use and then everything turned off for a day or two. I switched to rechargeable batteries.
  8. I have had no problem with the switch. My problem is the batteries in the remote drain when not in use. I went to rechargeable batteries.
  9. I had the black lead break free from the motor while I was tucking the leads in. It doesn't look like it was soldered very well. I was going to repair it myself, but my soldering iron is nowhere to be found. Agora said they would send another motor. We'll see.
  10. I had to replace my batteries after a day or so also. I just checked them and they are dead now. Good thing I changed to rechargeable batteries.
  11. I know there are 12 packs. How many total stages? I just received Pack 1 today and completed the propeller stage.

I just finished the propeller. I am currently doing the build over 24 months, but that might change later on.
  13. Is anyone else having problems seeing where the rigging goes on the cranes? The pictures could have been a little clearer or even blown up more. If I try to zoom in it just gets too blurry. That and the ship rigging is all I have left to do. Pack 1 of the Zero fighter should be here Wednesday.
  14. I am finishing up the Bismarck today. I received the shipping email today and I can't wait to start on the Zero fighter. Pack 1 and 2 look daunting, to say the least.
  15. Never mind. I had a senior moment! The sprue was deceiving. It looked like I had to trim and leave the pieces on the covers where you cut the covers off the sprue. Anyway, once I figured out how stupid I was, I trimmed them off and all is well.
  16. Has anyone else had trouble with the magnet covers? Instructions don't indicate gluing them in place, but mine just fall out when I turn the stand over to mount it.
  17. Thanks! The available height of the case is 16 7/8". Guess I will hold off ordering it till I have the ship mounted and I can get a measurement. I suppose Agora would have taken that into consideration.
  18. Looking at the Bismarck display case, I notice they show it with the original stands. Does anyone know if the case is tall enough to accommodate the electronic stand? I tried to measure but I don't have the stand attached to the ship yet. It looks like it's going to be too tall.
  19. This model is so big that I have trouble turning it around to work on the other side. 🙂
  20. If you are careful, a little twist with a smooth surface pair of needle nose pliers broke them free. Pegs did not break off. For me, anyway.
  21. The 5th control board mounting holes do not lineup properly. I loosened the screws connecting the 2 decks together and made sure they were lined up properly. Update: Problem solved. It just required flexing the 2 decks till the holes aligned. As you can see in the pics, I had them lying on my foam 'jig' and they weren't quite level with each other.
  22. Really Agora! We have to move these guns from one location to another, after they've been glued in place? "Taking care not to damage the parts"? I'll hold off on that for the time being, but I'll bet I'll be asking for replacement parts. Has anyone else done this yet? Update: Using my smooth needle nose piers I grabbed the guns on the sides and a couple twists back and forth and they were off. Thankfully I didn't use a ton of glue on them. lol
  23. I have the same problem. I bought cable on Amazon but like you said it is not quite flexible enough. I tried just running it inside the staff and it shows a little bit through the hole, but just not the same.
