  1. I have just finished the first pack. Not going to post photos as yet because they would just be a repetition of others. The only thing that went wrong was the quarter-light catch was knocked off, as warned about in the instructions, but easy to superglue back on. Trust me, if there is to be a problem then I will find it. Nice easy start though. Much better when issued like this in multiple sections rather than the normal part works that take some time to get anywhere. Well done Agora.
  2. Like James H, my first pack arrived when expected. Well packaged and looks really smart. It arrived the day after the email which was ideal. Will start the build over the weekend. I am going to use a soft table covering so that the parts do not get scratched in any way whilst working on it. I am collecting on the 24 month system, mainly because I have 3 other part works on the go at the moment, just finishing Black Pearl, was held up due to late wife's illness, the Bismarck and HMS Victory, so have to watch monthly outgoings, being an oldie and retired.
  3. Hi all. I have only built two movie related part works, The Bond DB5 and the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean (Hatchette). That is the first attempt at an all wooden model and I enjoyed it so much, although still in the last throws of the rigging (Had to put it on hold when wife was seriously ill) That I am now subscribing to the HMS Victory. I am looking forward to starting the Super Snake. The other part work I have on the go now is the Bismarck which is coming along nicely.

    Hi!

I hope this is a success. I have built a number of part works and currently running three, Hatchette Black Pearl (I had to put that on hold due to wife's illness and moving home but now nearly completed it at the local MenShed. i am also doing the Bismarck also from Hatchette and the HMS Victory. The only car I have built was the James Bond Aston Martin some years ago, which displays very well. I am looking forward to this new model of yours coming along. I saw it on You Tube with Wayne's World and so will be running along side him for tips. I trust your venture will go well. Ray
