Any other suggestions for the base switch? I’ve tried reversing the board, taking off the clear plastic and even removing the switch. No luck. One time the guns initialized but no light on switch. Going to try some new batteries later, otherwise I’ll try to get a new board.

Could be the motor is bad, or the motor is tightened down too much. If you can reach the mounting screws, try loosening them 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

Partworkupgrades.com offers 400 for about $11. Also other add in’s and mods.

One possible fix is to slightly loosen the screws. Some people have found that that helps.

On the Agora model website is a download section that has all the instructions for all 12 boxes online. No magazines included with parts. -
Peko there is a new stand in the final pack that supplies power and may be the center for the remote control functions.

Of the 6 packs I’ve received and the 2 on the way, 6 came from Florida and 2 from UK. Those 2 were sent because they missed a shipment.

I usually get mine around a week after payment. Remember, if you’re on the two year deal, you’ll have two payments between packs.

Does anyone know the total height of the model when its on the stand? The model guide says 12" or 30cm, but just saw a video of the model on the stand and it adds several inches. Is the stand part of the 12" figure or is it more? Thank. Trying to build a cabinet to hold the model and some other things and would like to know before I start cutting.

Just to be sure, did you take the one year or two year deal? If the two, then you'll be billed twice between each shipment. I had this problem on my order as I did not realize this billing technique.

Having watched videos from someone who started this build a couple years ago, I agree to a point, but wouldn’t be nearly as much fun if we spent the first 30 issues just putting the hull together.

Is there a total slowdown on packs shipping? Read the post on pack 7. Am on the 2 year plan, pack 4 was received end of July, start of October and no pack 5 yet.

Regarding the portholes, do each section of superstructure as you get it before doing any building with it. If you wait, some holes you won’t be able to get to and you’ll always be risking damaging some small details.

LED test board comes in pack 6 issue 57.

Don’t know if this applies, but try loosening the motor mounts a touch. Sometimes screwing the motor down tight is bad.

Ian, and everyone else, if a motor does not seem to work after installation, try loosening the mounting screws just a bit until it turns freely. Hope that helps. -
Just got a message from customer service. If you are on the 24 month plan, they will take 2 monthly payments before shipping a pack. While I don’t mind this method, I do wish that would have been better clarified, or I missed it somewhere.

Anybody know how long the delay is between payment and delivery? Was billed for pack 2 on 2/19 and still no shipping notification. The other model company I order from billed 5 days later and is already delivered.
