At auction Ken Miles Flying Mustang Shelby GT350R sold for $3.85 million.

I sure hope so. I would love to be able to display it and keep it protected.

Just wanted to double check. Should the transmission match the engine color and be Ford engine blue? I know my on my old 67' the transmission was raw metal silver.

Is there any possibility that a display case will be available in the future to protect the Super Snake from dust and the elements once we complete the build? Has any body had any success in locating a case that is large enough (23.4" x 9.1")? I have not had any luck finding one.

I know kit #6 hasn't sent out yet, but I'm licking my chops with anticipation on what to expect for this next build.

Just a thought. Do you think the lettered tires that are on the Shelby Cobra model would fit on the Super Snake model? Could we/I order just the tires separately if this is so? I know the whitewalls are correct, but may want to switch it up.

Everything about the model looks very accurate with exception of the tires. The white walls seem to be thinner and are placed farther out closer to the tread than the ones on the actual car. Do we know if the tires that come with the kit can be flipped to the opposite side and so they can be black walls instead.
